Drugs located in Stuffed Beavers during a Traffic Stop

Yesterday, at approximately 1:10am, Deputy Cody Williams conducted a traffic stop on Interstate 10 westbound near the 664 mile marker, East of Flatonia, for a traffic infraction. Consent to search was given. During the search, Deputy Williams detected the odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle. Deputy Williams located beaver plushies in the rear seat. Deputy Williams allegedly found packages of marijuana and ecstasy.
The driver was identified as Lugene Davis Jr. (47) of San Antonio. The marijuana and ecstasy was seized. The marijuana weighed over two pounds.
Deputy Duane Meagher assisted on the stop.
