On Friday, November 21, at approximately 2:41 pm, Officers observed a wanted subject in the 1100 block of August St. The warrant stemmed from an investigation into recent thefts in the area. Officers contacted the subject and advised him of the warrant. The subject began to actively resist Officers and was tased as a result. After a brief physical altercation, Michael Lyman (43), of Schulenburg, was arrested on the outstanding warrant for Theft of Property and additionally charged with Resisting Arrest, Search, or Transport and Possession of a Controlled Substance. Additional charges are pending further investigation.
