BERNICE LAY AGE 89 OF LEXINGTON

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 18, at St. James Lutheran Church in Lexington. Burial will follow in the Lexington Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 17,  from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday, June 18 from 7:00 a.m. until 8:00 a.m. at Phillips and Luckey Funeral Home in Giddings. The family will be present for visitation Wednesday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00pm.

Bernice is survived by her husband, Oscar Lay of Lexington; her daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Spencer Schneider of Giddings; her son and daughter in Law, Clyde and Sandra Lay of Lexington; four grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren; one great great grandchild, two sisters-in-law, Dorothy Raschke of Austin and Dorothy Exner of Brenham, as well as several nieces, nephews, and friends.
