LEONARD KORENEK AGE 83 OF SCHULENBURG

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, June 23, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Schulenburg. The family will receive friends beginning at 9:30 a.m. with the parish rosary to be recited at 10:00 a.m. from the church. Interment will follow in Dubina Catholic Cemetery with full military honors conducted by the Schulenburg American Legion and Vietnam Veterans Association. 

He is survived by his son, Robert Andrew Korenek, and wife Jeni; his granddaughter, Samantha, and her fiancé, Shawn. He is also survived by his brother, James Korenek and wife Nancy; sisters, Frances Sula and husband Ed, and Patty Kalich and husband Roy. Leonard leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends.
