Finalists announced for GISD Superintendent Position

According to an article from the Giddings Times and News,
A Finalist has been announced for the GISD Superintendent Position. The Giddings School Board held a Special Meeting recently and announced that Dr. Ray Despain has been chosen as the Lone Finalist for Position. He was selected out of 28 applicants.
Once a Lone Finalist is announced, Texas Law requires a 21 day waiting period before a School Board can vote to formally hire the Candidate.
