Public Intoxication Arrest in Schulenburg

Recently, Schulenburg Officers responded to a residence in the 1100 block of James Ave. in reference to a subject who appeared to be intoxicated standing in the rain.
Officers made contact with the caller and the possibly intoxicated subject. After speaking with both it was determined that the intoxicated subject was not welcomed at the residence. Officers found the subject to be under the influence of drugs and/or controlled substances and would be a danger to himself and the public if left alone.
Rahman Martin (41), of Schulenburg, was arrested for Public Intoxication. As Officers attempted to place Rahman in a Unit for Transport, Rahman began to actively resisting Officers. After a brief struggle, Rahman was secured in a Unit and additionally charged with resisting arrest, search, or transport.
Rahman Martin was transported to the Dan R. Beck Justice Center.
