Foot chase leads to Arrest in Halletsville

On March 30th, officers were dispatched to the 400 Blk of N Walnut St. Reference Suspicious Person call. Officers made contact with a male subject who fled on foot a short distance. With the Assistance of a Citizen, the Subject was stopped and taken into Custody.
The Adult male (23) of Hallettsville was transported to the Lavaca County Jail where he was booked in for Criminal Trespass and Evading Arrest/Detention.
