Traffic Stop near LaGrange

On Friday, February 24th at approximately 11:47pm, Sgt. Ryan Meagher stopped a 2015 Toyota Camry near LaGrange for expired registration.
Meagher asked the driver to exit the vehicle due to the driver possibly being impaired. After speaking with the driver, he admitted to Meagher there were narcotics inside of the vehicle.
A search of the vehicle was conducted and the following was located:
4.75 ounces of psilocybin mushrooms
26 vape cartridges containing THC
11 containers containing THC Wax
3.25 ounces of marijuana
The driver, Sheriff Keith Korenek identifies as Brett Nixon, 24, of Houston, was arrested and transported to the Dan R. Beck Justice Center charged with two counts of Manufacture/Deliver Controlled Substance and possession of Marijuana.
