Tips Lead to Arrest in Schulenburg

Recently, Schulenburg Officers responded to a residence in the 900 block of Eilers St.
Officers received a tip an individual was currently at a residence despite a protective order being in place. The subject who was prohibited from being at the residence was located within and placed under arrest.
While attempting to place the subject in the back seat of a Police Unit, the subject began to pull away multiple times and managed to free himself from Officers' control. Ultimately Officers had to assist the subject into the back seat to be transported.
Freddy Ray Houston, Jr (25), of Eagle Lake, was arrested for Violation of Protective Order and Resisting Arrest, Search, or Transport then transported to the Dan R. Beck Justice Center.
