Theft Suspect Taken into Custody

Sheriff Keith Korenek reports that on Tuesday, January 10th, The Fayette County Narcotics Unit assisted the La Grange Police Department with a Theft Investigation.
The Narcotics Unit reviewed surveillance footage from 4 Peas Resale, where a theft had occurred from the Business. The Narcotics Unit was able to identify a vehicle and suspect from the footage. The unit the located the vehicle and suspect at a residence outside the city limits of LaGrange.
The Narcotics Unit was able to obtain a confession from the suspect and recovered the stolen property, which was later handed over to the LaGrange Police Department to return to the business.
The Suspect in this case was placed into custody on outstanding felony warrants out of Fayette County. The Unit was assisted by Deputy Lee Phillips with this investigation.
