Suspect arrested for Robbery

Sheriff Keith Korenek reports that on Tuesday, January 3, the Fayette County Narcotics Unit with the aid of Investigator David Smith, assisted the LaGrange Police Department in solving a Theft case from a business in La Grange. The Narcotics Unit was able to identify the suspect in the case from video evidence that was provided by Investigator Smith.
The Suspect was then located and found to be stolen items to the victims in the case. Any criminal charges will be filed by the La Grange Department.
The Narcotics Unit also recovered a fire pit that had been stolen during the course of the investigation. The fire pit was recovered but an owner has not been located. Sheriff Keith Korenek at this time is asking if anyone has information in regard to the stolen fire pit to contact the Sheriff's office with a description or photograph of the Fire Pit they are missing and we would identify the victim in this case.
