Sheriff Keith Korenek reports that in the evening of Wednesday, December 14, the Fayette County Sheriff's Office received a report of a missing elderly person. Grace Johnson, age 97 of LaGrange, had reportedly left her residence off of FM 2145 in her Jeep SUV. On Thursday morning, Mrs. Johnson was located in her vehicle in a subdivision of the Katy Area. Mrs. Johnson was evaluated by EMS and was then taken to the Police Department where she enjoyed drinking coffee with the officers while waiting for her family's arrival to pick her up.
