Hit and Run turns DWI

According to a report from the Schulenburg Police Department, On Wednesday December 14th at approximately 1:53 am Schulenburg Police Officers responded to IH-10 EB for a report of a crash that has occurred in which one of the vehicles was attempting to flee.
Officers located the suspect vehicle, a Black Chevrolet pickup. While speaking with the driver multiple signs of possible impairment were observed and the driver was determined to be intoxicated.
Mark Vargas (49), of El Campo, was arrested for Driving while intoxicated and transported to the Dan R. Beck Justice Center.
