Boil Water Notice

Due to a water outage within the system, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality has required the Fayette County WCID Monument hill, public water system to notice all customers in the following areas:
East and West Side of Park Drive
All Property Owners in Bluff Haven Sub division, (including 94-114 Country Club Drive, Chris Ct, Carmen Ct, Molly Lane, and Richard Rd.)
All properties on Spur 92 from 231-343 Spur 92
111 Rolling Hill Drive,
116 Buckeye Trail
2145 U.S HWY 77
216 U.S. HWY 77
to boil their water prior to consumption (e.g., washing hands/face, brushing teeth, drinking,etc.) Children, Seniors, and persons with weakened immune systems are particularly venerable to harmful bacteria, and all affected customers should follow these directions.
To ensure destruction of all harmful bacteria and other microbes, water for drinking, cooking, and ice making should be boiled and cooled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption. The water should be brought to a vigorous rolling boil and then boiled for 2 minutes.
In lieu of boiling, individuals may purchase bottled water or obtain water from some other suitable source for drinking water or consumption. When it is no longer necessary to boil the water, the public water systems officials will notify customers that the water is safe for drinking and consumption.
Once the boil water notice is no longer in effect, the public water system will issue a notice that rescinds the boil water notice in a manner similar to this one.
