Fayette County Resident killed in 2 Vehicle Accident

A Fayette County Resident lost his life in a 2 vehicle accident on Saturday Evening. 47 Year old Karl Goehring of Walhalla was killed in the accident which occurred on Highway 159 Near Ruttersville. Karl Goehring was the driver and sole occupant of an 04 Chevrolet SUV. He was traveling north on highway 159 when his vehicle was struck by a 2016 Ford Pickup that was travelling south on Highway 159. The Driver of the southbound pickup crossed over the center of the highway causing the collision. Fayette County Sheriff Keith Korenek identifies the 2016 Ford Driver as 23 year old Taylor Wayne Levick of Woodsboro. Levick was allegedly intoxicated and booked into the Dan Beck Justice Center. The accident occured a few minutes after 7pm Saturday Night, east of LaGrange near Ruttersville. The Accident was investigated by The Department of Public Safety with assistance from Deputies of the Fayette County Sheriffs Department and members of the La Grange Volunteer Fire Department
