A Major Traffic Accident occurred Sunday Evening between Schulenburg and Weimar. The Accident occurred on Interstate 10, about 3 miles west of Weimar, inside Fayette County. The accident involved an 18 wheeler. The driver of the out of town 18 wheeler was traveling east on the interstate, when he lost control of the rig, and crossed the center median & ended in the westbound lane. Fortunately no one was injured. Department of public safety, Fayette County Deputies, and members of the Schulenburg Volunteer Fire Department responded.
