Narcotics Arrest in Bastrop County

A good day for the citizens of Bastrop County, but a bad day for narcotics traffickers in Bastrop County, thanks to the aggressive narcotics enforcement program of the Bastrop County Sheriff's Office.
Members of the Bastrop County Sheriff's office served a search warrant at a residence in Bastrop County. During the execution of the search warrant, Investigators seized an active meth laboratory, 2.2 kilograms of cocaine, 37.7 kilograms of crystal and liquid methamphetamine, and 9 firearms, including a short-barreled rifle. The estimated street value of the narcotics is approximately $82,000.
Also, Bastrop County Sheriff's Office Narcotics K-9 Team conducted a traffic stop in Bastrop County where approximately 27 kilograms of Crystal Methamphetamine was seized.
Both of these incidents are still under investigation, and charges are still pending.
