In Bastrop County, One person is dead and one other is in custody after a shooting in Elgin that authorities say appear to be a road rage incident Tuesday of this week. The incident started between two vehicles traveling west on US 290. That's when two people got out of their cars and began fighting, at which time one of them pulled out a gun and shot the other. Police said the fight appeared to be between two people who didn't know each other.
