Sentences were recently handed down in Giddings. 42 year old Mathew Lee O'Neil of Giddings was sentenced for deadly conduct. He received 1 year probation, fined $750 and ordered to pay $425 in restitution. He was also ordered to preform 60 hours of Community Service. Breaunna Kirkman, age 31, of Elgin was sentenced for driving while intoxicated for the 3rd timed. She was sentenced to 10 years in prison, probated for 10 years. She was also fined $2,600 and ordered to perform 200 hours of community service. Her license was suspended for a year. These Sentences were handed down at the Lee County Court House in Giddings.
