Sentences were recently handed down in Giddings. 63 year old Archie Ray Arnold of Ledbetter was charged with theft of property and sentenced to 90 days in the Lee County Jail and ordered to pay $200 in restitution. 40 year old Desiree Newton of Giddings was charged with interfering with public duties.
