Sheriff Keith Korenek reports on Wednesday Afternoon around 1:55pm Drug Interdiction Sgt. Randy Thumann and his Canine partner "Kolt" coducted a traffic stop on a 2014 Ford truck pulling a White utility trailer on I-10 E/B at the 671 MM for a Traffic Violation. Thumann approached the vehicle which was occupied by 3 individuals. Upon contact with the driver Criminal Indicators were observed. Thumann was given consent to search the truck and trailer. Assisting at the scene was Deputy Herman Olvera. A search of the trailer resulted in 3 concealed bundles of Cocaine in Decor water fountains. The 3 male subjects identified as 24 yr old Pablo Antonio, 37 yr old Rixco Terrablanco, and driver 25 yr old Javier Martinez all of Florida were arrested and transported to the Dan R. Beck Justice Center and charged with Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance.
