Drug Arrest in Ellinger

Fayette County Sheriff Keith Korenek reports that on October 8,2022 in the early morning hours, Deputy Jared Michalec and Sgt. Ryan Meagher responded to a suspicious vehicle call in Ellinger.

Reported was a suspicious vehicle sitting in the driveway of a residence off of Tobias Street. 

Deputies made contact with the driver and drug paraphernalia was located in plain view. A probable cause search if the vehicle was conducted and a substance believed to be cocaine was located.

Arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance was that of 19 year old Ricardo Garcia of Ellinger.
