A Schulenburg man is dead and his adult son is charged with Murder. Schulenburg Police Officers responded to report of shots being fired at a residence on Upton Street inside the city limits. 64 year old Ricky Machicek was shot to death. The Texas Rangers were called in to investigate. The Decedents son, 24 year old Shane Machicek was arrested and booked into the Dan Back Jail, charged with murder. The incident occurred shortly after 9pm on Saturday Night.
