Sentences were recently handed down in Giddings. Juan Enrique Herrera-Contreas, 25 of Giddings, Prohibited Substance in a Correctional Facility: 30 months confinement in Texas Department of Criminal Justice Institutional Division, and pay all costs previously assessed.

Quincy Lamonte Clemons of Dime Box, Assault Family Household Member with previous conviction; 6years probation, $1500 fine, $290 court costs, $415 reimbursement fees, and 100 hours Community Service Restitution.

Melvin Lewis Johnson, 55, of Smithville, Unlawful Carrying Weapon : 180 days confinement in the Lee County Law Enforcement Center, $270 court costs, $75 reimbursement fees, and forfeiture of weapon to the Lee County Sheriffs Office.
