Traffic Stop in Schulenburg

On Sunday, June 4th, at approximately 10:20pm, Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 14 block of N. Kessler Ave. after observing a black in color Silverado commit multiple traffic violations. While Speaking with the occupants probable cause to search the vehicle was developed. During the search 3 baggies of Marijuana, 10 cartridges of THC, and a loaded handgun were located.
The driver, Jordan Almeida Ortiz (23), of San Antonio, was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana, and Unlawful Carrying a Weapon then transported to the Dan R. Beck Justice Center for Booking.
