Terroristic Threat on Lavaca Medical Center

This Past Weekend, The Hallettsville Police Department received a report of a Terroristic Threat that was made by phone against the Lavaca Medical Center. After a thorough investigation, officers were able to identify the person who made the phone call. Contact was made with the person and he was taken into custody on an Emergency Detention Warrant for a mental health evaluation. Charges for Terroristic Threat are pending against the person who made the phone call. Officers determined that there was no immediate threat to the Lavaca Medical Center or the Public.
