Traffic Violation in Hallettsville

On Thursday May 25,2023. An Hallettsville Police Department Officer conducted a traffic stop in the 800 Blk E Fourth St for a Traffic Violation. When making contact with the adult female driver, a probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted. During the probable cause search marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and a Taurus 9mm Handgun were located. The Adult Female Driver (19) of Richmond was arrested for Possession of Marijuana in a Drug Free Zone and unlawful carry of a weapon. She was booked into the Lavaca County Jail.
