Two Arrests in one Night

According to Fayette County Sheriff Keith Korenek, on Wednesday May 24th, at approximately 9:15pm Deputy Austin Moore was dispatched to an address in the West Point area in reference to a domestic disturbance. After further investigation, Lorena Salinas, 23, of West Point, was arrested for Public Intoxication.
Later that night, at approximately 1:!5am, Deputy Moore initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle on US-77 near the Colorado River. Inside of the Vehicle, Moore located Marijuana, drug paraphernalia, ecstasy, Xanax pills and synthetic urine to falsify drug tests. The driver, Jalen Almeida, 28, of LaGrange, was arrested.
