Traffic Violation in Schulenburg

According to Schulenburg Police Officers, on Saturday May 20th, at approximately 7:21pm, Officers conducted on IH-10 near Exit 677 on a 2019 Infinity Q50 for a traffic violation. While Speaking with the occupants of the vehicle probable cause was developed to search the vehicle. During the search a usable amount of marijuana was located along with a 9mm handgun with an extended magazine.
Officers located additional Marijuana which the occupants had attempted to destroy.
The Driver, Nathaniel Brooks (24), of San Marcos, was arrested and transported to the Dan R. Beck Justice Center.
