Traffic Stop in Schulenburg

On Tuesday, May 16, at approximately 11:49pm, Schulenburg Officers conducted a Traffic Stop on IH-10 on a white vehicle for a Traffic Violation.
The Driver claimed to not have an ID/DL with her and provided a name and DOB to Officers. The info provided came back similar to one showing to have an active warrant from Bexar County. After further investigation it was determined this subject was the wanted subject.
Lavonne Byrd (41), of San Antonio, was arrested for Violation of Probation Warrant (Original charge), Theft of Property <$2500 w/2 or More Previous Convictions and Failure to ID Fugitive Intent to Give False Info. Lavonne Byrd was transported to the Dan R. Beck Justice Center for booking.
