Sheriff Keith Korenek reports on Monday evening around 6:50pm, the Fayette County Sheriff's Office Dispatch Center received a 911 call reporting a structure fire on SH 95 North @ Jeddo Rd. The Muldoon Fire Department was notified and responded to the scene along with Deputy Austin Moore, EMS Unit Medic 4, and EMS 2 Supervisor. Upon arrival it was reported a 2 story structure was heavily engulfed and mutual aid was requested from the Flatonia Fire Department who also responded. The Fire was contained and extinguished and it was reported no one was home at the time of the fire. EMS treated 3 Muldoon Firefighters at the scene for heat exhaustion. The Cause of the fire is Undetermined.
