Narcotics Arrest in Schulenburg

On Thursday, May 11th at 6:18pm, Schulenburg Officers responded to a business in the 1300 block of Russek St. for a report of an upset employee refusing to leave the premises.
Officers met with the manager who stated an employee had been acting bizarre during his shift making other employee's feel concerned. The employee eventually threatened the manager when confronted about his behavior.
Officer spoke with the employee who was seated in his vehicle. While speaking with him, Officers observed drug paraphernalia in plain view inside the vehicle. A search was conducted yielding THC products and a usable amount of Marijuana.
Deondrae Shields (27), of Waelder, was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Marijuana, then transported to the Dan R. Beck Justice Center for Booking.
