Traffic Stop in Schulenburg

At approximately 2:28am, Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block N. Kessler Ave, on a black Chevrolet Silverado for a traffic Offense. After speaking with the occupants, consent to search the vehicle was granted. During the search a meth pipe with signs of heavy use was located giving Officers and Deputies probable cause to continue with the search.
As the search of the vehicle continued a bag of fake urine was located which was used to falsify mandated drug tests. A search of the driver's person revealed loose white crystals in his pockets along with additional crystals in his wallet. The substance field tested positive for methamphetamine.
Charlie Badger (52) of Taylor, was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance <1G in a Drug Free Zone and Falsification of Drug Test Results then transported to the Dan R. Beck Justice Center for booking.
