Structure Fire in Columbus

Just before 6am yesterday morning, Columbus Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to a reported structure fire in the 900 block of Travis Street. Upon arrival, crews encountered smoke showing from a detached structure/workshop. Firefighters quickly initiated offensive suppression efforts and were able to achieve a rapid knockdown, preventing further spread.
Fortunately, the structure was unoccupied at the time of the fire.
