This past Tuesday, August 25, at approximately 10:40 pm, Schulenburg Officers stopped a silver Honda passenger car on IH-10 eastbound near Exit 674 for a traffic violation. In the course of the stop, consent to search the vehicle was denied and K9 Semper was deployed. K9 Semper gave a positive alert and a probable cause search was conducted. THC and a loaded handgun were recovered. The driver, Damian Perez (22), of Live Oak, was arrested.
