Injury to a Child Arrest

Recently, at approximately 5:40 am, Officers responded to a residence in the 1200 block of Kallus St. for a report of a juvenile who was assaulted.
Officers spoke with the victim and two adult witnesses who stated the juvenile had been assaulted by her mother. The victim also had a visible injury and there was damage to the house during the course of the incident.
Teria Sidney (35), of Schulenburg, was arrested for Injury to a Child then transported to the Fayette County Jail. The juvenile was released to a relative.
