Schulenburg Volunteer Fire Department received a call June 23rd for a multi vehicle accident including a tanker rig that struck the bridge wall, I-10 Westbound. SVFD responded with 3 quick response and rescue units. Fayette County Sheriff’s Dpt and Schulenburg PD assisted with traffic. All vehicle occupants refused medical treatment so they worked traffic control while DPS handled their investigation and wrecker services cleared the roadway. After a wash down the road was fully opened and units cleared around 8:30PM.
