Sheriff Keith Korenek reports on Monday morning around 7:56am the Fayette County Sheriff's Office received a 911 call reporting a Structure Fire possibly struck by lightning on FM 954 near Roznov Rd. The Round Top- Warrenton Fire Department was notified and responded to the scene with Deputy Ty Roggenkamp, and Fayette County EMS Medic 2. Upon Arrival it was reported the house had smoke in the residence. The fire was quickly contained and extinguished with no reported injuries. The cause of the fire was due to Lightning.
