Sheriff Keith Korenek reports on Monday evening around 6:15pm the Fayette County Sheriff's Office received a 911 call reporting a structure on fire on Loehr Rd. near FM 155. The LaGrange Fire Department was notified and responded to the scene along with Fayette County EMS Medic Unit 1, EMS 3 Supervisor, and Sgt. Duane Meagher of the Fayette County Sheriff's Office. Upon Arrival it was reported a red metal barn was fully engulfed. The fire was quickly contained and extinguished. Lost in the fire was an older model pickup and tools, there were no reported injuries. The cause of the fire may have been caused from welding.
