Lavaca County in Search of Individuals who fled after Pursuit

Lavaca County Sheriff’s Office deputies were searching for several individuals who fled on foot after a pursuit involving a stolen vehicle early Sunday morning. Deputies attempted to stop the vehicle overnight. The driver led deputies on a short pursuit before crashing. Four people then ran from the scene, officials said.
Deputies and first responders conducted a thorough search of the surrounding area and detained one illegal immigrant.
No injuries were reported, and authorities said there was no damage to nearby fences or private property. Deputies then cleared the scene without locating the remaining individuals

Lavaca County Sheriff’s office later reports that 3 more Illegal immigrants have been taken into custody in two separate events near the Lavaca and Jackson County line. Bringing a total of 4 in custody.
