Copper Wire Theft

The Fayette County Sheriff's Office is investigating a major copper theft that occurred just off of State Highway 71 near Kirtley Road this past Saturday night on March 14 between 11pm and Midnight.
Over $70,000 in damages and stolen copper electrical wire have been reported. This was not random, it required time, planning and someone familiar with the area.
If you noticed anything unusual that night, vehicles, people, or even activity in the area or anything out of place, They want to hear from you. Even a small detail can make a difference.
