Fayette County 4-H Compete in Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Dairy Judging Contest

Fayette County 4-H members competed in the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Dairy Judging Contest on Tuesday, March 3, 2026.
The Fayette County 4-H Junior Green Team was the Champion Junior Dairy Judging Team. Team members consisted of Abraham McBride, Jessa Jarvis, Gage Smrkovsky, and Abigale McBride. Individually, Abraham was the High Point Junior and received a Calf Scramble Certificate.
The Fayette County 4-H Junior White Team placed 10th overall. Team members consisted of Wyatt Smrkovsky, Catelyn Bosl, Janie Jarivs, and Brooks Dittert. Individually, Wyatt was 9th high point individual.
Judging as an individual was Zoey Krenek.
This contest also served as the District 11 4-H Dairy Judging Contest.
The Intermediate Team was the Champion Team. Team members consisted of Abraham McBride, Abigale McBride, Gage Smrkovsky, and Jessa Jarvis. Individually, Abraham was the High Point Intermediate.
The Junior Team was the Champion Team. Team members consisted of Wyatt Smrkovsky, Janie Jarvis, Brooks Dittert, and Catelyn Bosl. Individually, Wyatt was the High Point Junior.
