A Ribbon cutting ceremony will take place in Smithville today. The ribbon cutting ceremony is celebrating the completion of the Loop 230 Asphalt Paving Project. This Area is Smithville's most travelled and commercially active corridors. State Representative Stan Gerdes and other officials will be making comments. It is the hope of Leaders in Smithville that the improved driving conditions will enhance the driving safety to keep Smithville's economy moving forward.
