Public Intoxication Arrest in Schulenburg

On Monday December 1, at approximately 8:00 AM, Schulenburg Officers responded to the 100 block of Kessler Avenue near The Elementary School regarding a male subject running in the roadway.
Upon arrival, Officers attempted to make contact with the individual, who showed signs of intoxication. The subject fled on foot and actively resisted Officers’ attempts to detain him. After a physical struggle, Officers were able to take the subject into custody.
The individual, identified as Aristeo Muniz Jr. (39) of Flatonia, was arrested for Public Intoxication and Resisting Arrest, Search, or Transport. Muniz was transported to the Dan R. Beck Justice Center in La Grange.
