Recovery of Stolen Trailer

At approximately 8:42 pm on Sunday, Schulenburg Officers received information a stolen trailer was en-route to Schulenburg on IH-10 westbound from Sealy.
At approximately 9:33 pm, Officers observed the vehicle on IH-10 and a stop was initiated. The white box truck pulling the trailer got off of IH-10 and came to a stop in the Pilot parking lot where Fayette County Sheriff's Office, Texas- Sheriff Keith Korenek Deputies arrived to assist. After further investigation, the trailer was confirmed stolen out of Harris County.
The driver of the box truck, Pablo Hernandez (36), of Houston, was arrested for Theft of Property, then transported to the Fayette County Jail for booking.
