Drug Arrest on IH-10

On Thursday, October 30, at approximately 7:49 pm, Schulenburg Officers conducted a traffic stop on IH-10 westbound for a traffic violation. While speaking to the occupants a strong odor of marijuana could be smelled coming from the vehicle.
A probable cause search was conducted and a usable amount of Marijuana was located along with a THC vape pen.
The driver, was arrested for Possession of Marijuana. The passenger was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance.
Both subjects were transported to the Fayette County Jail for booking.
