Sheriff Keith Korenek reports on Monday afternoon around 3:#0pm the Fayette County Sheriff's Office assisted the Texas Southwest Cattle Raiser's Association's Special Ranger Kenny Murchison with the Theft of 3 Head of Livestock to be sold at the Flatonia Livestock Auction. The 3 head included 2 Holstein Heifers and a Jersey type heifer all stolen from Robertson County. Deputies Herman Olvera. Joe Gonzales, Sgt. Ron Naumann, and Lt. David Beyer assisted Ranger Murchison who identified the suspects in the sales area and they were both detained. After further investigation, 19yr old Davarion Davon Hurst of Franklin and 21 yr old Kevandre Dayshawn Corona of Calvert were taken into custody for "Theft of Livestock" and transported to the Dan R. Beck Justice Center. The Cattle Trailer used in the theft was confiscated.
