Warrant Arrest in Weimar

At approximately 10:00 AM Tuesday morning, officers with the Weimar Police Department—assisted by the Colorado County Sheriff’s Office and members of the Austin County Sheriff Regional Special Response Team—successfully executed a search warrant within city limits.
The operation resulted in the arrest of one adult female with an active warrant out of Colorado County, the detention of one juvenile, and the recovery of an illegal firearm.
The increased law enforcement presence in town morning was Tuesday morning directly related to this operation. There is no ongoing threat to the community.
