Bastrop Mayor Special Election

In Bastrop, a New Mayor will be elected this Saturday. In the May 3rd Election, Ishmael Harris received 48.6% of the vote and Willie Delarosa received 34.3% of the vote. Because neither candidate received over 50%, this has set up special election on Saturday.
Traditionally about a thousand people vote in Bastrop City Elections.
