Arrests recently took place involving trail riders. According to an article in the Giddings Times and News, Deputies with the Lee County Sheriff's Department were called to an area on FM 180 in the Ledbetter Area. 2 women from Corpus Christi were arrested for fighting. Sheriff Durringbeger of the Lee County Sheriff's Department identifies the 2 as 41 year old Shamair Carter and 39 year old Celeste Joy Mason. Shamair was arrested for Disorderly Conduct, resisting arrest and a liquor violation. Celeste was arrested for liquor violation and disorderly conduct.
